Why did I go into blogging? This is a question I have asked myself since I started. I have my reasons and I have stated it before. I wanted to give myself a voice, to speak and be able to give my opinions on subjects without having to face the backlash of my family. If you wondered how that has worked out? Not too well to be honest. I still don’t voice my concerns or opinions, I still bottle them up and keep them to myself. XD I am working on that.
Anyways, review request are still closed on books. I am only reading for pleasure for the rest of 2018. You can still email me if you want and I will respond as soon as request have opened or if your book catches my attention. There has been a lot going on at Crandom Headquarters and I am pleased to hopefully get the ball rolling on a few ideas that I have floating around in my mind.
If you can’t tell from the first header, I have been questioning myself as a blogger (well, I have been questioning many aspects of my life lately haha, but Crandom has been in danger of disappearing for at least a few months). As of right this second, we seem to be on pretty solid ground as I move forward to making sure that books don’t take over my lifestyle blog. Yes, books are a huge part of my life, but so are my kids, my husband, my pets, my camera, crafts, and just so much more. I finally went ahead and bought Jetpack because I was having such a huge issue with spam comments and it was such a chore to login and deal with them on a daily basis. Things haven’t felt so crazy on the back-end these days.
The other day, me and the kids were in Walmart shopping for normal stuff when we accidentally stumbled across one of their presentation displays. Not the normal store displays, but it was a woman giving a presentation on a cleaner called The Amazing Whip-it. At first I rolled my eyes and was going to keep walking, but then she mentioned sharpie and it got my attention. Baby Girl got into a sharpie one day and marked on my brand new wooden dresser and nothing has been able to get it out. So I stopped and I watched the presentation and was intrigued enough to try it. The price wasn’t horrible (approx 128oz for $30 – two 32oz bottles of concentrate and one 32 oz premixed spray bottle. The concentrate will make way more than 64 ounce of cleaner.) so I grabbed it and it got me to thinking. Normally, I don’t do that. I don’t just watch a presentation and decide on the spot that I want to use it.
The main reason for me not jumping the gun and trying new stuff is that most of the time the ‘must haves’ aren’t at all what they seem to be. I have been let down time and time again by different products that claim to do stuff and they can’t even come close to doing what they promised. Truthfully, I haven’t attempted using the Amazing Whip-It on my dresser yet, because I have been busy doing so much other stuff, but I plan on putting it to the ultimate test later on. I did use it to clean the bathroom the other day and it did not disappoint at all! I did have one small issue, but I will over that in the post I do to cover the product.
Anyways, it is late and I have a lot of errands to run tomorrow so i am about to log off and call it a night. I hope you guys look forward to seeing more post from me (as I have the time to write them up), because they will be coming and I cannot wait to tell you guys about some of the stuff that I have had happening.
